Almost everything that goes wrong in medical tourism traces back to the choice of clinic. Before anything else, satisfy yourself on these points:

• Who performs the procedure? Licensed medical professionals, in a facility authorised by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health — and you should know who your surgeon or dentist is before you travel.
• Is there a written plan, or just a cash figure? A documented plan, an itemised all-inclusive price and receipted payments are basic signs of a serious clinic.
