Patient journey

Your journey, planned to the hour

Travelling abroad for treatment should feel organised, not improvised. Here is exactly what happens, from your first message to your twelve-month follow-up.

Before you travel

Everything settled before a flight is booked

You get in touch

WhatsApp, email or the free consultation form. We ask for photographs, your age, relevant medical history and what you would like to achieve. It takes about five minutes.

A physician reviews your case

Not a salesperson. The specialist who would treat you assesses your photographs and tells us what is realistic, which technique fits, and how long it takes.

Your written plan arrives

Usually within 24 hours: the recommended treatment, the expected result, the number of days needed, and one all-inclusive price with a full list of what it covers.

You ask everything you want

A video call with your coordinator if you prefer. There is no pressure and no deadline — patients who take three months to decide get the same attention as those who book in a day.

Dates confirmed

We reserve the clinical date and your hotel, then send a day-by-day itinerary. Only then do you book flights, so you are never holding a ticket for a date that moves.

In Istanbul

Four days that are handled for you

You should not be navigating a foreign city with a dressing on your head. From landing to departure, someone is with you.

Day 1 — arrival

A private driver meets you at Istanbul or Sabiha Gökçen airport with your name on the board. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and a call from your coordinator to confirm the morning.

Day 2 — consultation & treatment

Collected from the hotel. Examination, blood work, final plan agreed face to face, then the procedure. Back to the hotel the same evening, or an overnight stay where the procedure requires it.

Day 3 — first check

Return to the clinic for the first dressing, wash or adjustment. Written aftercare instructions and your medication are issued and explained.

Day 4 — final review & departure

A last review with your physician, clinical photographs for your file, and a private transfer back to the airport.

Private airport transfer for patients

Private transfers between airport, hotel and clinic — included in every package

Where you stay

A quiet room, close to the clinic

We use four-star hotels within a short drive of Nişantaşı, chosen for the things that actually matter after a procedure: a quiet room, a lift, room service, and staff used to looking after patients rather than tourists. Breakfast is included and a companion can share your room at no extra cost.

  • Three to four nights included as standard, extendable at cost price
  • A companion accommodated in the same room free of charge
  • Walking distance to the shops, cafés and parks of Nişantaşı for the quiet days
  • Longer stays and family arrangements available on request
After you fly home

The part most clinics forget

Your treatment does not end at the airport. Aftercare here is scheduled, not left for you to chase.

01

Week 1

Daily availability on WhatsApp for questions about washing, swelling, medication and what is normal.

02

Month 1

A scheduled check-in. You send photographs; your physician reviews them and confirms healing is on track.

03

Months 3 & 6

Progress reviews at the points where patients most often worry — including the shedding phase after a hair transplant.

04

Month 12

Final assessment against the original plan, and a written record for your file. Revision needs, if any, are discussed here.

Travel questions

It depends on your nationality. Many European and Gulf citizens travel visa-free or on a straightforward e-visa obtained online in minutes. Check the official e-visa portal of the Republic of Türkiye for your country. If you need an invitation letter from the clinic for a visa application, we will provide one.
Yes, and we recommend it for surgical procedures. Your companion shares your hotel room at no extra cost and is included in the transfers. Tell us when you book so the itinerary is arranged for two.
Either works. Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side is usually closer to the clinic, but Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) is fine and we meet you at both. Send your flight details once booked and the transfer is arranged around them.
A deposit secures your date; the balance is settled at the clinic before treatment. We accept bank transfer and major cards, and every payment is documented and receipted. There are no cash-only requests and no charges added after arrival.
Tell your coordinator as early as you can and we move the plan. Life happens — illness, work, cancelled flights. The terms that apply to deposits and rescheduling are set out in writing before you pay anything.
Istanbul receives a very large number of international patients every year and the infrastructure around it is mature — accredited facilities, experienced specialists and hotels used to recovering guests. As with any city, the sensible precautions apply; your coordinator is reachable throughout your stay if anything is unclear.
