Frequently askedQuestions, answered properly
If yours is not here, message us on WhatsApp — you will get an answer from a person, not a template.
Before you decide
Yes. Send photographs and a short medical history and you receive a written assessment from the treating physician together with an all-inclusive price. There is no cost and no obligation, and the face-to-face examination once you arrive in Istanbul is part of the treatment package.
Usually within 24 hours on working days, often the same day. Cases that need a second specialist opinion — combined procedures, complex revisions — can take a little longer, and we will tell you if that applies to you.
Because costs are local: staff, facilities, laboratory work and living expenses are all lower than in Western Europe, the UK or North America, while the currency exchange widens the gap further. It reflects the local economy, not the standard of the work — the specialists, materials and equipment are the same ones used elsewhere.
Yes, and we would rather do it early. Insufficient donor hair, healthy teeth that should not be prepared, a body-contouring request better answered by weight stabilisation first, or unrealistic expectations — all are reasons we will decline. It costs us a booking and saves you a great deal more.
Clear photographs of the area concerned, your age, any chronic conditions, current medication, previous surgery in the area, and what you hope to achieve. If you have recent blood tests or imaging, send those too — they may save a step.
Cost and payment
Because a real price depends on your case — the number of grafts your donor area supports, the number of units in your smile line, whether bone grafting is needed. A published figure would either be a low number designed to get you on the phone, or a high one that puts off people it should not. You receive your actual, final price in writing before you commit to anything.
Consultation and pre-operative tests, the procedure and all clinic fees, anaesthesia and medication, three to four nights in a four-star hotel with breakfast, private airport and clinic transfers, an English-speaking host, your post-operative kit and first check-up, and twelve months of scheduled follow-up.
Flights, travel insurance, visa fees where they apply, meals beyond hotel breakfast, extra hotel nights beyond those in your package, and any additional treatment you decide to add after arrival. All of this is listed in your written quote.
A deposit reserves your date and the balance is paid at the clinic before treatment, by bank transfer or major card. Everything is receipted. We never ask for the full amount up front and we never add charges after you arrive.
The deposit and cancellation terms are set out in writing before you pay, and we would rather you read them than assume. If you need to move your dates rather than cancel, tell us early and we will reschedule.
Safety and standards
Licensed physicians specialised in the relevant field, working in healthcare facilities authorised by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health. You will be told your treating physician's name and speciality before you travel, and you meet them face to face before consent.
That is decided by an anaesthetist, not by us and not by a form. Blood work, ECG where indicated and a full medical history are reviewed before any surgical date is confirmed. If a condition makes anaesthesia risky, the procedure does not go ahead.
While you are in Istanbul, you are seen the same day. Once you are home, contact your coordinator on WhatsApp; we assess remotely with your physician and, where necessary, coordinate with a doctor local to you. Anything covered by your treatment agreement is handled under it.
No honest clinic guarantees a biological outcome, and you should be wary of any that does. What we do commit to in writing is the technique, the plan, the standard of care and the revision terms that apply if the agreed result is not achieved.
Travel and stay
Hair transplant and most dental work: three to four nights. Facial surgery: five to seven. Body surgery: seven to ten. Your written plan states the exact number before you book flights.
It depends on your nationality; many travellers need only an e-visa obtained online. Check the official e-visa portal of the Republic of Türkiye. We can issue an invitation letter for your application if one is required.
For non-surgical treatments and hair transplants, yes — many patients do, and you are accompanied by our team at every appointment. For surgery under general anaesthesia we strongly recommend bringing a companion, who stays in your room at no extra cost.
English throughout, as standard. Other languages can usually be arranged with notice — tell your coordinator when you enquire and we will confirm before you travel.
Between appointments and within the limits your physician sets, yes. After most procedures you will be advised to avoid sun, heat, dust and exertion for a period — which rules out hammams and long walks, but not a quiet afternoon in Nişantaşı. Your aftercare sheet is specific about what to avoid and for how long.
